In 2016, The Ordinary disrupted the beauty industry by doing what should always be ordinary — telling the truth.
The brand democratized skincare by making active ingredients accessible at sensible price points. The mission was simple: to reject the status quo in favor of authenticity and integrity.
Ingredients isn’t a book about our products— it’s about what’s inside them.
Go behind the labels and into the lab with the scientists at DECIEM, creators of The Ordinary. From understanding your skin and how it works to decoding labels, formulations, and what really goes into your skincare, Ingredients is a guide to how a quiet revolution became a global movement of consumer empowerment and radical simplicity.
